"Nothing"

Something that I typed up quickly earlier. It's inspired heavily by the short film Pillow; which I think will be very apparent to anyone who's seen the film.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The two boys
Walking along the road
Finally saw
An Angel.

They asked her
For a new house
And she said
"Nothing can be made
Out of nothing."

But they asked her
Again and again
Until she said
"Alright."

A bright flash of light
And the trees were all gone
But they had
A new house.

The two boys
Working out in the yard
Finally saw
An Angel.

They asked her
For bountiful crops
And she said
"Nothing can be made
Out of nothing."

But they asked her
Again and again
Until she said
"Alright."

A bright flash of light
And the nearest family
Soon died of starvation
But the boys had
A bountiful harvest.

The two boys
Shivering in their living room
Finally saw
An Angel.

They asked her
For firewood
And she said
"Nothing can be made
Out of nothing."

But they asked her
Again and again
Until she said
"Alright."

A bright flash of light
And their house was gone
But they had
Plenty of firewood.

The two boys
Only one awake by the fire
Finally saw
An Angel.

He asked her
For food
And she said
"Nothing can be made
Out of nothing."

But he asked her
Again and again
Until she said
"Alright."

A bright flash of light
And his brother was gone
But at least he had
Hot food.

The one girl,
Walking along the road,
Finally saw
An Angel.

She asked her
To be alone out there
And she smiled and said
"Nothing can be made
Out of nothing".

A bright flash of light
And the last boy was gone
And the girl
Was alone
With the Angel.

Considering cutting the last three verses, and just letting it stop at "But at least he had hot food". Thoughts?
